Sancheong County Declares Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commitment at 2026 Kickoff Ceremony

Sancheong County in South Gyeongsang Province announced on January 2 that it held the "2026 Byeong-o Year Kickoff Ceremony" in the county office's main conference room.

At the ceremony, attended by County Governor Lee Seunghwa and public officials, participants reaffirmed their commitment to the development of Sancheong County in 2026.

They also firmly pledged to uphold anti-corruption and integrity practices for a transparent Sancheong.

During the Anti-Corruption and Integrity Practice Resolution Meeting, newly promoted senior officials and newly appointed public officials, who took office on January 1, served as representatives for the pledge, adding significance to the event.

In particular, County Governor Lee Seunghwa emphasized the slogan "Sancheong Rising Again, Stay Strong Sancheong," presenting a direction for county administration centered on residents.

Prior to the kickoff ceremony, participants visited the Memorial Tower to pray for the development of Sancheong County and the well-being of its residents.

Governor Lee Seunghwa said, "I would like to express my deep gratitude to all staff members who overcame last year's difficult trials and worked hard for greater growth," adding, "This year, let's work together as one to implement administration that truly resonates with and is felt by our residents, making it the happiest year for everyone."
