Superintendent Im Taehee Begins New Year’s Schedule with Visit to Anyang Memorial Tower on January 2

Im Taehee, Superintendent of Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, began his official schedule for the Year of Byeongo (2026) by visiting the Anyang City Memorial Tower to pay his respects on January 2.

On this day, Superintendent Im, accompanied by Kim Jinsu, the First Deputy Superintendent, and others, honored the memory of the fallen patriots and national heroes by offering flowers, burning incense, and observing a moment of silence at the memorial tower.

He also pledged to make a strong start for Gyeonggi education this year together with all members of the Gyeonggi education community.

Since taking office in 2023, Superintendent Im has visited memorial towers in different regions at the start of each new year. In 2023, he began his official schedule in Uijeongbu, in 2024 in Seongnam, and in 2025 in Yangju.
