Kyungbok University ranked among the top nationwide in employment rates for both general and specialized universities in 2024, achieving an employment rate of 82.1%.
On January 1, Kyungbok University announced that it had demonstrated its status as a leading university for employment by achieving an 82.1% employment rate in the "2024 Higher Education Institution Graduate Employment Statistics Survey" released by the Ministry of Education and the Korean Educational Development Institute. This result is based on a survey of 1,954 graduates from August 2023 and February 2024.
Despite a challenging job market, Kyungbok University improved its employment rate by 1.5 percentage points compared to the previous year’s rate of 80.6%. During this period, the national average employment rate for four-year universities was 62.8%, while for specialized universities it was 72.1%.

Kyungbok University recorded an employment rate more than 20 percentage points higher than four-year universities and over 10 percentage points higher than competing specialized universities.
A Kyungbok University official stated, "Despite a nationwide decline in employment rates, Kyungbok University's achievement of a high rate of 82.1% and year-on-year growth is a testament to the success of our field-oriented education system. We will continue to foster creative talents suited for the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, maintaining our reputation as a university trusted by companies and valued by students."
