As a key policy, the district will coordinate local welfare resources centered around the Seongbuk Welfare Foundation and ensure stable responses to diverse care needs, including those of the elderly, to provide essential welfare services close to residents.
To improve transportation accessibility and manage living social overhead capital (SOC), the district will thoroughly inspect public facilities and local infrastructure, and steadily establish foundations to enhance residents' convenience. The district will also expand the foundation of a garden city by managing green spaces and river areas, enabling residents to easily enjoy nature in their daily lives.
For local economic recovery, the district will faithfully implement support policies for various groups, including the elderly, small business owners, and young people, as well as revitalize commercial areas. Libraries and cultural facilities will be operated in a balanced manner, and opportunities for cultural enjoyment in daily life will be expanded through resident-participatory cultural programs.
In particular, the district will strengthen digital and AI-based administration for public safety and health management, increasing the efficiency of safety inspections and improving administrative services so that technology can provide practical help in areas closely related to daily life, such as health management for vulnerable groups.
Mayor Lee emphasized, "This year as well, Seongbuk District will do its utmost to listen to the voices of our residents and to sincerely provide the necessary administrative services close to daily life."
