This achievement is especially meaningful as it demonstrates consistent excellence across the entire process of public health policy, from planning to performance management, rather than being limited to a specific area.

The medium- to long-term roadmap, "Regional Health and Medical Plan (2023-2026)," was selected as the top institution in 2023 and continued to be recognized as an excellent institution in both 2024 and 2025, proving its ability to efficiently utilize public health resources.

Innovative ideas and citizen-centered administration also stood out. The center won the top excellence award in the Ministry of Health and Welfare's "Oriental Medicine Promotion Regional Plan Contest," and received high praise for its case of expanding postpartum care support in the "Best Practices in Proactive Administration Competition."

Additionally, local health clinics garnered attention as practical model cases by operating integrated programs that combine cognitive and health interventions, and the center reached its peak by receiving the grand prize in the comprehensive evaluation for the "Gyeongsangbuk-do Public Health and Medical Services Sector."

Building on the achievements of 2025, Gyeongsan City Public Health Center plans to implement even more advanced public health administration in 2026.

In particular, the center will focus on the core keywords of "youth happiness, parental peace of mind, and senior vitality," aiming to establish a seamless medical safety net that spans prevention to care, and to create a city where the local economy and public health thrive together.

An Byungsook, Director of Gyeongsan City Public Health Center, stated, "2025 was a year in which we achieved the valuable result of winning 13 awards by establishing a comprehensive health safety net throughout all stages of life," and added, "In 2026, we will further enhance the daily health and happiness of our citizens and take Gyeongsan City to the next level."
