Pocheon City in Gyeonggi Province will install a temporary bus stop at the Seondan 1-dong Senior Center near Geonhwa Gas Station in Seondan-dong, with operations beginning from the first bus on January 1, 2026.

Currently, due to the construction of the Okjeong~Pocheon Metropolitan Railroad, the Daejin University bus stop within the construction zone has been relocated 200 meters in the upward direction (toward Songuri). However, to minimize inconvenience for residents of Seondan 1-dong, who have had to travel approximately 400 meters to use public transportation, the city has established this temporary bus stop at the Seondan 1-dong Senior Center.
City buses will stop at the temporary bus stop, but metropolitan buses will not stop there due to traffic conditions and the operational characteristics of their routes.
A Pocheon City official stated, "The construction of the metropolitan railroad is a crucial project for improving the local transportation system, and we will continue to develop supplementary measures to minimize inconvenience to citizens during the construction process." The official added, "We will also promote the installation of the temporary bus stop to ensure that citizens can use it without confusion."
Meanwhile, once the new metropolitan railroad station is completed, the temporary bus stop will be closed. If there are any changes to the operation period or usage methods of the temporary stop due to construction progress, advance notice will be provided.
