The area surrounding Osong Station in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, which is emerging as a central transportation hub in South Korea, is experiencing a surge in anticipation due to major regional transportation developments, including the KTX and SRT high-speed railways, the Seoul-Sejong Expressway, and the Chungcheong Region Metropolitan Express Railway (CTX). Amidst these developments, the announcement of a large-scale private rental apartment complex in the Osong Station area, offering residents the closest access to the future value of the station district, is drawing significant attention from genuine home seekers.


The Osong Station Hyundai Regional Housing Cooperative plans to begin recruiting tenants in January for 'Hillstate Osong Station First,' a private rental apartment complex located in Osong-ri, Osong-eup, Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province. The complex will consist of 24 buildings, each ranging from two basement levels to 25 above-ground floors, totaling 2,094 units. This supply includes 501 units with a 59-square-meter exclusive area, featuring a 4-bay, 3-room flat-type layout.


The most significant advantage of 'Hillstate Osong Station First' is undoubtedly its exceptional transportation location. Residents can easily walk to KTX and SRT Osong Station, enabling travel to Suseo in Seoul in about 40 minutes, which provides outstanding accessibility to Seoul and the greater metropolitan area. In addition, access to the Gyeongbu Expressway and Jungbu Expressway is convenient via Cheongju IC and Seojeong IC, making travel to any part of the country easy.


In particular, the Osong Station area is evolving beyond a simple railway station into a "metropolitan transportation mecca." The Seoul-Sejong Expressway is scheduled to open in the future, and the recent approval of the privately funded Chungcheong Region Metropolitan Express Railway (CTX) project adds to the positive outlook. Once the CTX opens, it will be possible to travel between major hubs in the Chungcheong region, such as Daejeon, Sejong, and Cheongju, within about 30 minutes, further strengthening Osong Station's role as a transportation hub.


Furthermore, the Osong Station district is set to benefit from large-scale development projects, including the planned Osong Third Bio-Science Complex and the Osong Railway Cluster Industrial Complex. These projects are expected to enhance the area's live-work proximity and future value.


With rental fraud recently emerging as a major social issue and residential stability becoming a key concern, 'Hillstate Osong Station First' is being supplied as a private rental apartment complex with mandatory HUG (Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation) guarantee enrollment, eliminating concerns about the non-return of rental deposits.


Residents can live stably for up to 10 years without worrying about moving, and the annual rent increase rate is capped at 5%, reducing the burden of housing costs. There are also no acquisition or property taxes, which is a significant advantage. Anyone over the age of 19 can apply without a subscription savings account, making the process free from complicated regulations, and after 10 years, conversion to ownership is possible.


The complex also boasts an excellent educational environment for children. Osong Elementary School and Osong Affiliated Kindergarten are located directly in front of the complex, allowing for safe, walkable commutes, and an on-site daycare center is also planned. The area is well-equipped with lifestyle infrastructure, including the Osong National Sports Center and Bestian Hospital.


Specialized designs befitting the Hillstate brand premium are also noteworthy. All units are primarily south-facing and feature a 4-bay flat-type layout to maximize sunlight and ventilation. The complex is designed as a park-like area with no cars on the ground level, ensuring resident safety. In addition, a variety of community facilities such as the H-iForest (indoor playground), a golf practice range, and a fitness center are planned.

Meanwhile, the model home for 'Hillstate Osong Station First' is scheduled to open in January in Yeonje-ri, Osong-eup, Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province.
