Park Ildong Inaugurated as 25th Deputy Mayor of Jinju

Jinju City in South Gyeongsang Province announced on the 31st that Park Ildong has officially assumed office as the 25th Deputy Mayor of Jinju.

In his inaugural address, Deputy Mayor Park stated, "Jinju is a competitive city where history, culture, and industry harmonize," adding, "I will devote all my efforts to field-oriented administration that brings tangible changes to the lives of citizens."

He went on to emphasize, "I will do my utmost to steadily advance key municipal issues through close cooperation with the mayor and to realize trustworthy administration within the public sector."

Deputy Mayor Park is recognized as a figure who possesses both extensive experience and practical skills in overall administration, as well as strong organizational management and policy coordination abilities. In particular, he is known for his rational administrative style that prioritizes resolving local issues and facilitating communication between departments.

Jinju City expects that the stability and momentum of municipal governance will be further strengthened with Deputy Mayor Park's inauguration. A city official stated, "We will focus our administrative capacity on ensuring that key pending projects and public welfare policies are carried out smoothly under the leadership of the Deputy Mayor."

Meanwhile, Deputy Mayor Park Ildong held a brief and modest inauguration ceremony, and immediately after taking office, began overseeing city affairs by visiting major departments to receive work briefings.
