Changwon Housing Policy Division Sweeps Multiple Awards, Ranked No. 1 in Provincial Housing Policy Evaluation

A Series of 12 Work-Related Awards Received

The Housing Policy Division of Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam has been making headlines at the end of the year for receiving a series of awards in various fields.

Awards and Commendations Received by the Housing Policy Division.

According to Changwon City on December 30, the Housing Policy Division and its staff were honored with a total of 12 awards related to their work in December 2025, receiving recognition from higher-level organizations, Changwon City, and external groups.

First, the Housing Policy Division was selected as the top city (No. 1 in the province) in the “2025 Outstanding City and County in Housing Policy Implementation” evaluation conducted by Gyeongnam Province. The division was also named an “Outstanding Department in Regulatory Reform Performance for 2025,” organized by Changwon City, and received a mayoral commendation.

Staff members of the Housing Policy Division also swept various awards. Thanks to their efforts in carrying out 14 residential welfare projects, employees were recognized as follows: selected as “Outstanding Public Official for the Jeonse Deposit Return Guarantee Fee Support Project” by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and received a ministerial commendation; selected as “Outstanding City and Outstanding Public Official in Housing Policy for 2025” by Gyeongnam Province; selected as “Outstanding Public Official in Youth Residential Welfare Projects” by Gyeongnam Province; selected as “Outstanding Public Official in Residential Welfare Projects” by Gyeongnam Province and received a governor’s commendation; selected as the best and outstanding public officials in the second half of the year for the Civil Service Mileage Program organized by Changwon City; and selected as kind public officials in the second half of the year, also receiving commendations from Changwon City.

In addition, the Apartment Audit Team of the Housing Policy Division received a plaque of appreciation from the Housing Managers Association in recognition of its contributions to enhancing transparency in apartment management, promoting the rights and interests of housing managers, and restoring trust.

Furthermore, construction site personnel (supervisors and construction company staff) also received awards through the recommendation of the Housing Policy Division, including being selected as outstanding contributors to construction projects and as outstanding citizens for city development in the fourth quarter of 2025, bringing the total number of awards to 12.
