Donation of White Rice and Instant Noodles Worth 12 Million Won
to Busan Branches of the Korean War Bereaved Families Association and Widows Association
On December 24, the Seowon Nanum Foundation delivered consolation goods for volunteer activities to the Busan branches of the Korean War Bereaved Families Association and the Korean War Widows Association, in honor of those who have devoted themselves to the nation.

The consolation goods delivered this time, including white rice and instant noodles, are worth a total of 12 million won and will be used to support bereaved families of national merit and for community sharing activities.
Seowon Nanum is a non-profit foundation established by Seowon Distribution, a local company in Busan. Since 2014, it has consistently supported the social volunteer activities and vocational rehabilitation centers of the Busan branches of the Korean War Bereaved Families Association and the Korean War Widows Association. The cumulative support provided so far amounts to approximately 77 million won.
On this day, Choi Dugil, head of the Busan branch of the Korean War Bereaved Families Association, and Park Eunju, head of the Busan branch of the Korean War Widows Association, said, "We deeply appreciate the unwavering support from the Seowon Nanum Foundation since 2014. Through the consolation goods we have received, we will further promote support and volunteer work within the local community and take the lead in spreading a culture of sharing."
A representative from Seowon Nanum stated, "We organized this support to express our respect and gratitude to those who have devoted themselves to the nation and their families. We will continue our ongoing sharing activities in partnership with the local community in the future."
