Chosun University Hospital announced on December 30 that Professor Yonghoon Jeong, an emergency medicine specialist, received the Director Award of the National Medical Center, "Encouragement Award," at the "2nd Regular Meeting and Award Ceremony of the Smart Medical Guidance Pilot Project Promotion Team for 119 Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians."
Professor Jeong participated in the Smart Medical Guidance Pilot Project (SALS) and was recognized for his contribution to improving the survival rate of cardiac arrest patients by providing proactive medical guidance from the on-site stage.
Professor Jeong stated, "I believe this award is the result of the combined efforts of paramedics and medical staff who did their utmost to save patients' lives in the field," adding, "I will continue to do my best so that emergency patients can receive faster and safer medical services through smart medical guidance."
