Dongsin University announced on the 30th that it recently hosted the 25th NEXT Jeonnam-Naju Imagination Forum, inviting Han Dahye, a research fellow at the Seoul National University Consumer Trend Analysis Center and co-author of "Trend Korea 2026."

The forum was held in the main auditorium on the second floor of the Innovation Convergence Campus at Dongsin University in Bitgaram Innovation City, with about 120 participants including President Lee Juhee, Dongsin University faculty and staff, members of the Naju City Council, public institutions from the innovation city, and Naju citizens.

Dr. Han Dahye introduced ten trend keywords for the upcoming year of the Red Horse, 2026, using the acronym "HORSE POWER."

The ten trends-Human in the Loop, Feelconomy, Zero Click, Ready Core, Pixel Life, AX Organization, Price Recoding, Health Intelligence, 1.5-Person Household, and Fundamentalism-provided valuable insights into how these trends will impact the economy, culture, and consumption patterns of our society in the age of AI.

She also presented new terms such as the "Zero Click" era, where AI makes recommendations without the need for clicks; "Feelconomy," a combination of "feel" and "economy" emphasizing mood-driven consumption; "Price Recoding," referring to hyper-rational consumption through multidimensional price analysis; "Pixel Life," describing fleeting and diverse trends like pixels; "1.5-Person Household," supplementing single-person households; and "Health Intelligence," which refers to intelligent health management.

Dr. Han stated, "When researching next year's keywords, I tried to minimize the connection to AI, but in the end, all the keywords pointed to AI. We are in an era of great transformation where AI is already causing significant changes in people’s lifestyles and ways of thinking, beyond simply considering how to use AI."

She continued, "The most important keyword is 'Human in the Loop,' which means that when using AI for work, there should be at least one human intervention. While it is true that AI can process various data and produce good results, the key to changing the world still lies in human hands. The time will come for people who can skillfully utilize AI and achieve innovation on that foundation."
