A Special Delivery of Warmth and Hope
Ulleung Cruise Employees Donate to Support Neighbors in Need
"Just as Ulleung Cruise carries the lives of Ulleungdo residents, we also want to share in their hardships." This time, Ulleung Cruise transported a truly special cargo.
On December 30, Ulleung County held a donation ceremony at Ulleung Cruise, where 5 million won was donated to the 'Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign,' along with an additional 1.5 million won raised by employees who each contribute 1% of their base salary every November.
The donations delivered on this day will be used to support neighbors in need within Ulleung County, spreading the warmth of sharing throughout the local community.
The ceremony was attended by Nam Han-gwon, Governor of Ulleung County, and Vice President Yoon Hee-jong, representing the employees of Ulleung Cruise. The donated funds will be received by the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea and then used to help those in need within Ulleung County.
Yoon Hee-jong, Vice President and employee representative of Ulleung Cruise, said, "This donation was made possible thanks to the strong interest and voluntary participation of all our employees. I hope it will serve as a valuable opportunity to provide practical help to marginalized neighbors in our community."
Governor Nam Han-gwon stated, "As we approach the end of the year, I deeply appreciate the generosity and warm support of Ulleung Cruise employees. The kindness you have shown has become a great strength for the underprivileged in our community, and we will ensure that your goodwill reaches those who need it most."
