Nauro Robotics Receives Incheon Mayor’s Award for Contributions to Robotics Industry Development

Nauro Robotics Receives Incheon Mayor’s Award for Contributions to Robotics Industry Development Jongju Lee, CEO of Nauro Robotics.

Nauro Robotics, a company specializing in robotics led by CEO Jongju Lee, announced on the 29th that it has been awarded the Incheon Mayor’s Award for contributions to the development of Incheon’s robotics industry.

This commendation is presented to CEOs of robotics companies who have contributed to the creation of Incheon’s robotics industry ecosystem and the dissemination of technology. Recipients are selected based on a comprehensive evaluation of their achievements in robotics technology development and industry revitalization.

Since its establishment in 2016, Nauro Robotics has been headquartered in Incheon, developing and manufacturing industrial robots and autonomous logistics robots. The company has focused on internalizing core technologies to enhance the competitiveness of domestic robots, and, based on these achievements, successfully completed its KOSDAQ listing in May.

Since July, the city of Incheon has been collaborating with Nauro Robotics to plan an exhibition that integrates robotics and AI technology for the 2025 APEC Korea international event, and has requested related technical support. In response, Nauro Robotics contributed its AI-based robotics technology to the successful operation of the 2025 APEC Korea SOM3 (Third Senior Officials’ Meeting) held at Songdo Convensia and the 2025 APEC Finance and Structural Reform Ministers’ Meeting held at the Yeongjong Inspire Hotel.

In October, Nauro Robotics also signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the city of Incheon for the promotion and development of the robotics industry. Both parties agreed to work together on technological cooperation and the creation of an industrial ecosystem, aiming to expand Incheon’s robotics industry to over 3 trillion won by 2030.

Nauro Robotics is a rapidly growing domestic robotics company specializing in industrial automation and autonomous logistics robots. The company provides a total robotics solution, including the NURO Cartesian robot, the NURO X articulated robot, the NUCA SCARA robot, and the NUGO autonomous logistics robot.

Following its KOSDAQ listing in May, Nauro Robotics has been advancing its production infrastructure by establishing a second factory and enhancing its capacity to handle large-scale projects. Recently, the company has also expanded its business scope to include the development of ultra-large articulated robots, hybrid collaborative robots, and industrial humanoid robots.

Jongju Lee, CEO of Nauro Robotics, stated, “I am honored to be recognized for my contributions to the development of Incheon’s robotics industry. Moving forward, we will continue to elevate our robotics technology to a global level and grow as a leading robotics company representing Incheon and pioneering the robotics industry in Korea.”
