2026 Win-Win Support Plan Announced
Increased Inventory Disposal Limit and Expanded Health Support for Franchise Owners
GS Retail announced on the 29th that its convenience store GS25 has unveiled next year's win-win support plan focused on improving the profitability of franchise stores.
The core of the 2026 win-win support system includes: ▲ strengthening operational support programs to enhance franchise store profitability; ▲ expanding quality of life programs for franchise owners, taking into account the increase in long-term operating stores; and ▲ boosting synergy by linking with existing programs.

The main operational support program is the increase in the inventory disposal limit. GS25 has raised the inventory disposal limit to an industry-leading 1.08 million won per store annually. This decision reflects the trend of shorter product life cycles.
This is expected to create synergy when linked with existing incentive programs such as the assortment enhancement incentive (900,000 won per year), profit improvement incentive (1.2 million won per year), and sales profit incentive (with no support limit).
In addition, the company has expanded the scope of support for water filter replacement and drainage facility management to improve store hygiene and facility management. To support safe business operations, GS25 will continue to provide embezzlement insurance and parcel theft insurance.
Welfare programs for franchise owners, such as health and psychological care, will also be strengthened. Notably, the company will operate a "health and psychological care program," a healthcare-linked service for all franchise owners. This program, provided in partnership with professional healthcare companies, offers integrated services including consultations with medical professionals, health checkup consulting, medical appointment booking, and nurse accompaniment to hospitals.
GS25 provides free health checkup services to franchise owners who have operated for more than 10 years. For owners in their 20th and 30th years, the company offers travel vouchers (up to 3 million won) and health checkup vouchers.
Customized welfare programs for franchise owners, such as holiday (Chuseok) gifts, childbirth gifts, support for family events, and funeral support, will continue to be provided next year.
Shin Donghoon, Head of Win-Win Cooperation at GS Retail, said, "Since 2017, GS25 has been leading the way in establishing a model of mutual growth and win-win culture in the convenience store industry by announcing the first-ever win-win support plan for franchise owners. The 2026 win-win support plan focuses on practical operational support systems to boost franchise profitability and welfare programs to improve franchise owners' quality of life, thereby ensuring sustainable mutual growth with our franchisees."
