Jaesang Lee, CEO of HYBE, has been named one of the world's most influential entertainment industry executives by the American entertainment magazine Variety, HYBE announced on December 29.

To mark its 20th anniversary, Variety selected 120 executives who have demonstrated leadership and influence within the industry, including CEO Lee as the 117th honoree.

The publication stated, "Jaesang Lee, who was promoted to CEO in 2024, is driving the 'HYBE 2.0' initiative to expand the company's business into music, film, and television. In particular, this includes large-scale plans to combine content, gaming, and fandom in new ways, with HYBE America serving as a key base."

Variety also analyzed that HYBE "is well-positioned to capitalize on the growing global interest in K-culture, which extends beyond K-pop."

Previously, CEO Lee was named to the '2025 Billboard Global Power Players' list and registered as a professional member of the Recording Academy. HYBE evaluated that, through this latest recognition, CEO Lee is expanding his influence in the global music market and leading the company's growth and expansion.
