Seoroseoro School is a cyclical learning model in which residents participate together as both instructors and learners, teaching and learning from each other. It is designed to allow anyone, regardless of educational background, age, or occupation, to share their expertise, experience, and practical skills.

With this program, Yongsan-gu received the Excellence Award at the 22nd Korea Lifelong Learning Awards, hosted by the Ministry of Education and organized by the National Institute for Lifelong Education. Since 2015, the program has operated a total of 275 courses, producing 3,144 students and 217 resident instructors.

The first session will feature practical and humanities-focused courses such as "Helpful Tax Tips," "Calligraphy," "Nonviolent Communication," "A Journey into Humanities through Poetry and Music," and "Change Your Body by Changing Your Walk." Each course will be conducted in small classes of about 10 people.

Registration is available online through the Yongsan-gu Education Portal (http://yedu.yongsan.go.kr) until 6 p.m. on January 15 next year. Classes will be held in Lecture Room 3 at Yongsan Art Hall. There is no tuition fee, but some courses may require separate material costs.

Park Heeyoung, Mayor of Yongsan-gu, stated, "Seoroseoro School is a representative example of Yongsan-style lifelong learning, where each resident's life experience and talent become resources for learning. We will continue to expand lifelong learning policies so that residents are not just passive recipients of education, but active participants who teach, learn, and grow together."
