Police to Analyze Event Data Recorder and Other Evidence
An accident occurred in the underground parking lot of an apartment building when a Mercedes-Benz sedan, reversing, collided with five parked vehicles in succession.

At around 8 p.m. on the 25th, in the underground parking lot of an apartment in Yongho-dong, Seongsan-gu, Changwon City, a Mercedes-Benz sedan driven by a man in his 50s, identified as A, collided with five parked vehicles while reversing. As a result of the accident, driver A sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. In addition to A's vehicle, two Porsche vehicles, one BMW, and one Genesis were damaged. Police estimate the total damage could reach up to 400 million won.
At the time of the accident, A was reportedly reversing to park when he drove over a parking block and continued to hit the other vehicles. It has been confirmed that A was neither intoxicated nor driving without a license, and he is claiming sudden unintended acceleration.
The police plan to investigate the exact cause of the accident by analyzing the event data recorder (EDR) and closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage.
