This system, established by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in 2010, annually selects and awards apartment complexes with outstanding management. This year, 21 complexes recommended by 12 cities and provinces nationwide were reviewed through document and on-site inspections, as well as deliberation by the 'Excellent Apartment Management Complex Selection Committee,' to determine the final selections. The main evaluation criteria consisted of four categories: general management, facility safety and maintenance, community revitalization, and recycling and energy conservation.
'Byeongjeom Station Dongmoon Goodmorning Hill,' which began occupancy in 2006, is a complex with 518 households. According to the city, residents voluntarily organized a volunteer group and have received positive evaluations for strengthening the community and practicing environmental conservation through regular activities such as 'clearing snow in front of every home' and cleaning nearby streams.
Kim Hyungap, head of the Housing Management Division at Hwaseong City, stated, "This selection as an excellent management complex is the result of residents and management entities working together to continuously carry out voluntary community activities and systematic complex management." He added, "We will do our best to improve the residential quality of apartment complexes, strengthen self-governance functions, and promote community revitalization."
