Byeongjeom Station Dongmoon Goodmorning Hill in Hwaseong Selected as Excellent Apartment Management Complex by Ministry of Land

Clearing Snow in Front of Homes and Stream Cleanup Activities Conducted

Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 26th that the 'Byeongjeom Station Dongmoon Goodmorning Hill' apartment complex, located at 211 Annyeong-dong, has been selected as an 'Excellent Apartment Management Complex' by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

Residents of Dongmoon Goodmorning Hill Apartment near Byeongjeom Station in Hwaseong held the launch ceremony of the volunteer group 'Dongmoon Dasom Volunteer Corps' last February. This apartment complex was selected as an 'Excellent Apartment Management Complex' by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport this year. Provided by Hwaseong City

This program, operated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport since 2010, annually recognizes apartment complexes with outstanding management. This year, 21 complexes recommended by 12 cities and provinces nationwide underwent document and on-site evaluations, as well as a review by the 'Excellent Apartment Management Complex Selection Committee,' to determine the final recipients. The main evaluation criteria included four areas: general management, facility safety and maintenance, community revitalization, and recycling and energy conservation.

'Byeongjeom Station Dongmoon Goodmorning Hill,' which began occupancy in 2006, consists of 518 households. According to the city, residents voluntarily formed a volunteer group and regularly carry out activities such as 'clearing snow in front of every home' and cleaning nearby streams. These efforts to strengthen the community and protect the environment were highly evaluated.

Kim Hyungap, Head of Housing Management at Hwaseong City, stated, "This selection as an Excellent Apartment Management Complex is the result of residents and the management entity working together to continuously engage in voluntary community activities and systematic complex management." He added, "We will do our best to improve the residential quality of apartment complexes, strengthen self-governance functions, and promote community revitalization."
