SSG.com Begins Pre-Order Sales of Lunar New Year Gift Sets: "Up to 50% Off"

Pre-order Inventory Increased by 20% Year-on-Year

SSG.com announced on the 26th that it will conduct pre-order sales of Lunar New Year gift sets until February 6th next year.

SSG.com has increased the volume of pre-order inventory by 20% compared to last Lunar New Year. The company expects that, due to the relatively short holiday period this year, more customers will want to prepare their Lunar New Year gifts in advance.

For fresh food sets, which are traditionally popular gifts, the supply of major brand products has been expanded by 30%. For example, a mixed apple and pear gift set (6kg) will be sold for around 54,000 won, while a Korean beef gift set (1kg, consisting of 500g sirloin and 500g striploin) will be available for around 95,000 won.

To address the polarization in gift demand, both premium and practical products have been strengthened. The company has prepared a variety of unique gift sets, such as a set of 10 Yeonggwang grilled croaker from the exclusive premium brand 'SSG Jeongdam' for around 150,000 won, as well as cookies, traditional teas, and Korean dessert gift sets.

During the pre-order period, customers can receive up to a 50% discount on popular gift sets when purchasing with an event card. Additional benefits, such as up to 1.5 million won in SSG Money rewards, are also available depending on the purchase timing and amount.

Bang Seungjae, Head of Marketing at SSG.com, said, "We have prepared generous benefits so that customers can enjoy greater rewards the earlier they purchase," adding, "We are also considering introducing exclusive gift sets for members of the SSG Seven Club, which is scheduled to launch in January."
