Powernet Leads ESG Practices with Employee-Driven Community Sharing

Powernet announced on December 26 that, in celebration of the year-end and New Year, its employees voluntarily collected and delivered donations to the Geumcheon District Office, thereby putting into practice the values of sharing and mutual growth within the local community.

The donated funds will be used for various public interest projects aimed at supporting underprivileged groups and enhancing welfare within Geumcheon District.

Powernet has made ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management a core value, and has particularly focused on building a mutually beneficial growth model with the local community in the 'Social (S)' domain. This donation activity is a case where employees took the lead in social contribution, combined with a healthy labor-management cooperation culture, demonstrating the exemplary practices of a mid-sized company implementing ESG on the ground.

A Powernet representative stated, "While we have continued social contribution activities such as regularly supporting research institutions for the treatment of severe patients, this donation is especially meaningful because it was not a company-led formal activity. Instead, it was driven by a shared sense of social responsibility, with the labor-management council and the women's association (Power Girls) at the center, and all employees voluntarily coming together to participate."

The representative continued, "Powernet does not stop at the simple financial goal of achieving results through continuous growth, but is practicing sustainable ESG management by expanding into social value. Going forward, we will continue to broaden employee-led, participatory ESG activities to create sustainable value together with the local community as well as various stakeholders."

Meanwhile, Powernet has been setting new quarterly performance records as its new business sectors deliver results beyond expectations, in addition to the stable growth of its existing core business. Alongside this external growth, the company is creating a sustainable management environment through its commitment to ESG management.
