Suwon City in Gyeonggi Province will hold year-end and New Year events with citizens from the evening of December 31, 2025, until the morning of January 1, 2026.
On December 31 at 7:30 p.m., Suwon City will host the "2025 Year-End Concert" at the SK Atrium Grand Theater. The Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra, Suwon City Choir, traditional Korean musicians Nam Sangil and Park Aeri, and singers Yoon Hyungjoo and Kim Sehwan will perform.
Additionally, the "2025 New Year's Eve Concert" will take place on a special stage at Haenggung Square from 10:30 p.m. for two hours. At 11:40 p.m., a New Year's Eve bell-ringing ceremony will be held at Yeominkak. After a celebratory performance by the Chwita Band, Suwon Mayor Lee Jaejun, Suwon City Council Chairman Lee Jaesik, and citizens will ring the bell at midnight to celebrate the New Year.
On January 1, 2026, from 6:50 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., Suwon City will also hold a New Year's sunrise event at Seojangdae on Paldalsan Mountain. Mayor Lee Jaejun will watch the sunrise together with citizens. At 9:00 a.m., Mayor Lee will pay tribute at the Memorial Tower.
