The Shinhan Mentoring Program selects freshmen who need support in adapting to university life and academics as mentees, and connects them with outstanding senior mentors. This mutual growth program aims to prevent dropouts, improve mentees' adaptation to university life and career development, and enhance mentors' leadership skills. In the 20th term, super mentors shared their mentoring know-how with mentors, and mentors and mentees focused on developing communication and challenge skills through eight weekly sessions.

Main activities included: ▲Pre-training and kickoff ceremony ▲Group interpretation counseling using NEO Personality Inventory for career counseling ▲Group counseling (horticulture and aromatherapy) ▲Eight mentor-mentee sessions ▲Selection of outstanding mentors, mentees, and teams through the evaluation meeting.

At the evaluation meeting, one mentor said, "I felt a great sense of fulfillment by sharing concerns with my mentee and seeking solutions together. The process of guiding my mentee also became an opportunity for my own growth, and it was a meaningful experience of mutual development." A mentee added, "Through mentoring, I gained a deeper understanding of my major and was able to draw a clearer plan for my university life. I hope to become a mentor myself in the future and help my juniors."

President Kang Sungjong stated, "Shinhan Mentoring is a meaningful program that goes beyond simply supporting university life, as it creates a community culture where students grow together. The virtuous cycle of growth for both mentors and mentees is a source of pride and a competitive strength for our university."

Director Lee Hyunjong commented, "Shinhan Mentoring is a mutually beneficial model that not only prevents freshmen from dropping out but also enhances the capabilities of both mentors and mentees. We will continue to operate various support programs so that students can successfully adapt to university life and plan for their future."
