At around 6:50 p.m. on December 23, a taxi driving in the second lane struck a man in his 60s who was pushing a bicycle across a three-lane road near a large supermarket in Samho-dong, Yangsan City, Gyeongnam Province.

As a result of the accident, the man in his 60s, identified as Mr. A, was seriously injured and transported to a hospital, but he died.

It has been determined that at the time of the accident, Mr. A was pushing his bicycle and crossing the road through the flowerbed in the median strip.

The taxi driver, a man in his 70s identified as Mr. B, was reportedly neither under the influence of alcohol nor driving without a license.

The police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the accident, questioning both Mr. A's spouse, who was accompanying him at the scene, and the taxi driver, Mr. B.
