KW International Launches Amazon SEND Ocean Freight Service
Delivery to U.S. Amazon Warehouses in as Little as 16 Days from Busan
Selected as the Only Logistics Partner in Korea Offering Both Air and Ocean Freight

KW International, a global logistics specialist, announced on December 24 that it has officially launched its ocean freight service for Amazon Global Selling SEND (Seller Direct Delivery Service), expanding beyond the air freight service it has operated since 2023. KW is a global logistics company that supports the entire United States, providing domestic transportation-including international shipping-warehouse operations, and after-sales services.

With this service expansion, KW has become the only Amazon logistics partner in Korea to offer both air and ocean freight simultaneously through the SEND program. The newly introduced SEND ocean service can deliver products from Busan to Amazon fulfillment centers on the U.S. West Coast in approximately 16 days, and to the East Coast in about 27 days. The company expects that not only large-scale sellers but also small and medium-sized sellers will be able to enhance their logistics competitiveness at reasonable costs.


The SEND shipping service is a cross-border one-stop logistics solution that enables direct delivery of products from Korea to Amazon fulfillment centers in the United States. Sellers can handle all procedures-from obtaining quotes and preparing shipping labels to real-time cargo tracking-integrated within Amazon Seller Central, reducing the need for separate shipping arrangements or delivery management.


Only Amazon shipping partners who meet strict standards can participate in the SEND program. The entire process, including shipment creation, labeling, shipping, real-time cargo tracking, and inbounding to FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) within Seller Central, is operated through a single integrated system. With Amazon fulfillment centers’ priority inventory placement process, sales can begin immediately upon arrival.


The SEND service is utilized across a wide range of consumer goods categories, including cleaning products, bedding, household items, and kitchenware. It has received strong responses from sellers of everyday consumer goods who require regular and large-scale inventory replenishment, and it is also effectively used for seasonal products or when securing promotional stock is necessary.


The KW Amazon operations manager stated, "With this service expansion, Korean Amazon sellers can significantly improve logistics efficiency by selectively using air or ocean freight depending on the urgency of their scheduled shipments," adding, "Together with Amazon, we will provide Korean sellers with more convenient and transparent logistics solutions to support their entry into global markets."
