The phoenix flag is a symbol of the head of state of the Republic of Korea and is displayed at the president's main office.

Since the phoenix flag will be raised at Cheong Wa Dae on the 29th, the relocation from the Yongsan presidential office to Cheong Wa Dae is expected to be essentially completed by then. It is reported that the remaining secretarial staff at the Yongsan presidential office will complete their move by Christmas.
