Namyangju City Honors Outstanding Civil Complaint Departments and Friendly Public Officials: "Leading Trusted Administration"

Enhancing Administrative Trust Through Prompt and Friendly Civil Complaint Handling

On December 24, Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province held an awards ceremony at Yeoyudang to recognize outstanding departments and friendly public officials in the '2025 Comprehensive Evaluation of Civil Complaint Handling.' Six departments and 24 employees received commendation certificates and prizes in appreciation of their hard work.

The 'Comprehensive Evaluation of Civil Complaint Handling' is a system conducted across all departments, evaluating annual performance in handling statutory civil complaints and petitions submitted via the National Petition Portal. The evaluation is divided into city hall and town/district offices, and comprehensively assesses factors such as satisfaction with processing and compliance with deadlines. The goal is to enhance the quality of civil complaint services and increase public trust.


As a result, in the city hall category, the Childcare Policy Division was selected as the top performer, followed by the Women's and Children's Division (Excellence Award) and the Road Construction Division (Encouragement Award). In the town/district offices category, the Dasan 1-dong Urban Architecture Division received the top award, followed by the Geumgok-dong Urban Architecture Division (Excellence Award) and the Byeollae-dong Welfare Support Division (Encouragement Award). The selected departments received Namyangju Love Gift Certificates as incentives, and based on individual evaluations, a total of six employees were granted the Mayor's Commendation and additional HR points.


In addition, the city conducted an evaluation in the second half of this year based on criteria such as reduction rate in civil complaint processing time, number of cases handled, and satisfaction level. As a result, 12 outstanding employees in various fields of civil complaint handling and six friendly public officials who contributed to improving civil complaint services were selected, totaling 18 individuals.


The city provided Namyangju Love Gift Certificates as incentives to outstanding employees in civil complaint handling. For the six friendly public officials in administrative and technical positions, selected through citizen and departmental recommendations, the city awarded the Mayor's Commendation, Namyangju Love Gift Certificates, and one day of special leave.

Mayor Joo Gwangdeok stated, "I sincerely congratulate all public officials who have practiced the spirit of Jeong Yak-yong and worked together with citizens on receiving these awards," and added, "I hope you will continue to process work even more kindly and promptly from the citizen's perspective, fostering a more trusted public service culture."


The city plans to continue improving the quality of civil complaint administration, aiming to provide administrative services that citizens can truly feel and that are helpful in their daily lives.
