Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (headed by Soh Yoo-seop) held the 2025 fourth quarter Nuclear Communication Committee meeting on December 24 at a restaurant in Seosaeng-myeon, with attendees including Head Soh Yoo-seop, department and division heads, county council members, and local community leaders who serve as communication committee members.

During the committee meeting, participants shared updates on the operation status and achievements of Saewool Units 1 and 2, which are currently in normal operation, as well as progress and commissioning status for Saewool Units 3 and 4.


They also shared records and plans for social contribution activities, and introduced various efforts by Saewool Headquarters employees to support underprivileged groups in the region, such as the recent initiative by the Saewool Headquarters furniture-making club 'Firefly Workshop,' which designed, planned, and produced custom furniture for children at Ulsan Orphanage and delivered it directly.


Soh Yoo-seop, Head of Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters, stated, "Saewool Headquarters prioritizes stable operation of nuclear power plants as well as regional coexistence and cooperation as our highest values," adding, "We will continue to do our utmost in 2026 to promote regional coexistence in Uljugun by supporting local livelihood, welfare, education, safety, and the economy."


Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters has established a system for continuous communication with local residents and holds regular quarterly meetings to transparently provide information on nuclear power plant construction and operations, a practice that will continue in 2026.
