According to the county on December 24, this evaluation, conducted by North Jeolla Special Self-Governing Province, comprehensively assessed the infectious disease prevention, management, and response systems, vaccination rate management, and performance in the prevention and management of chronic infectious diseases at 14 public health centers across the province.
The county closely collaborated with 14 designated vaccination medical institutions within its jurisdiction to ensure smooth vaccine supply management, enabling timely influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations for the prevention of respiratory infectious diseases.
Outstanding results were also achieved through active promotional activities, such as producing and distributing promotional materials to improve childhood vaccination rates and pneumococcal vaccination rates, and encouraging publicity at local town offices, health centers, and health clinics.
Kim Daegon, Director of the Health and Medical Center, stated, "This award is the result of the dedication of our staff, who have worked hard under challenging circumstances to prevent and respond to infectious diseases, and the cooperation with local medical institutions. We will continue to do our utmost to strengthen the infectious disease prevention and response system to protect the health and safety of our residents."
