Sharing Warmth and Gifts with Outpatients, Inpatients, and Pediatric Patients
The hospital prescribed warmth instead of a consultation room.
On December 24, the day before Christmas, Ulsan Eliya Hospital (Director: Jung Younghwan) held a surprise event, handing out Christmas gifts to outpatients, inpatients, and pediatric patients visiting the hospital. The event was well received by customers and patients alike.
For this event, the hospital prepared and packaged sleep socks and hot pack sets as gifts for inpatients, and put together snack sets to be distributed to children visiting the pediatrics department.
In particular, staff members dressed as Santa Claus visited the wards to deliver gifts to inpatients, offering comfort to those who had to spend the holiday season in the hospital. In the afternoon, the hospital also distributed hot packs to outpatients, sharing warmth to help ease the cold of midwinter.
Jung Younghwan, Director of Ulsan Eliya Hospital, stated, "Next year marks the 30th anniversary of Ulsan Eliya Hospital serving the local community. As we look forward to a new leap and further development in 2026, I am delighted to hold this Christmas gift sharing event as a small way to give back for the immense love we have received from local residents and inpatients."
Ulsan Eliya Hospital is also running a year-end event that has been receiving a great response. From December 15, 2025, to January 3, 2026, customers who write their New Year's wishes on postcards placed in the first-floor lobby or on the hospital's official Instagram posts are eligible to win prizes such as health checkup vouchers and coffee coupons.
In addition, to celebrate Christmas week, Ulsan Eliya Hospital held various events for its staff. On Monday, an external chef was specially invited to serve a Christmas special meal to employees, and on December 23, a year-end celebration was held for all staff, including viewing a year-end video and a lucky draw, providing encouragement and appreciation for their efforts over the past year.
