Briefing Session Led by Governor Kim Hasu
Focus on 120 Key Projects Including Investment-Led Districts
Cheongdo County (Governor Kim Hasu) held a briefing session on December 23 in the county office's main conference room, presided over by Governor Kim Hasu, to discuss plans for securing national and provincial funding for 2027, officially launching efforts to secure the budget.
This briefing session was attended by around 120 participants, including the deputy governor, department heads, and team leaders. The purpose was to share the policy directions of central government ministries and to discuss efficient strategies for securing funding.
The county has set a goal of securing a total of 176.1 billion KRW for 2027, which includes 14.91 billion KRW for 84 national projects and 27 billion KRW for 36 provincial projects, covering a total of 120 projects.
Cheongdo County has focused its administrative capacity by providing all employees with training to strengthen their ability to secure national funding and by conducting strategic analyses.
As a result of these efforts, the amount of national and provincial funding secured has steadily increased, rising from 60.5 billion KRW in 2024 to 74.4 billion KRW in 2026, marking a 23% increase.
Starting with this briefing session, the county plans to establish a step-by-step implementation system aligned with the central government's budget formulation cycle and to thoroughly check whether all preliminary procedures are followed.
Additionally, Cheongdo County will make every effort to secure national and provincial funding through regular management using personal networks and proactive proposal activities.
Governor Kim Hasu urged all departments not to rest on their laurels and to respond proactively to secure the 2027 budget, emphasizing his commitment to making every effort to secure resources for regional development.
