Osan City to Offer 15% Cashback for Year-End Local Currency Payments

Limited-Time Event from December 29 to 31

Osan City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the "2025 Osaekjeon Year-End Appreciation Special Event" for three days from December 29 to 31 to boost year-end consumption.

During the event, customers who pay with the local currency "Osaekjeon" will receive 15% cashback on their purchase amount. The maximum cashback per person is 15,000 won. The cashback must be used within three months from the date of issuance. The event may end early if the budget is exhausted.

This event can be combined with the Osaekjeon recharge incentive (10%) and the special 5% benefit commemorating Osan City's selection as an outstanding local government for rapid national budget execution. As a result, citizens can receive up to 30% benefits, amounting to 215,000 won, during the year-end period.

Lee Gwonjae, Mayor of Osan, said, "I hope that the use of local currency will naturally lead to increased business for local merchants and help warm up the neighborhood economy at the end of the year."
