The distributor NEW announced on December 24 that the movie "Humint" will be released during the Lunar New Year holiday on February 11 next year.
"Humint" is an action drama set in Vladivostok, depicting a clash between characters with different objectives. It is the latest film by director Ryoo Seungwan, known for "Berlin" (2013), "Veteran 1 & 2" (2015, 2024), "Escape from Mogadishu" (2021), and "Smugglers" (2023).
Humint stands for "human intelligence," referring to intelligence activities conducted through people.
The first poster, which has been released, features key characters including National Intelligence Service black agent Chief Cho (Cho In-sung), North Korean Ministry of State Security team leader Park Geon (Park Jung-min), North Korean Consul General Hwang Chi-seong (Park Hae-joon), and North Korean restaurant worker Chae Sun-hwa (Shin Se-kyung), as they track down international crime activities.
