On December 24, Kyobo Securities announced that it is currently operating its communication activation program, the 'Blind Theme Lunch.'
The Theme Lunch program was launched at the beginning of this year to create opportunities for communication, enhance collaboration, and foster a positive corporate culture. The event consists of a sequence: blind notification of participation by theme, invitation to a lunch meeting, sharing of information, announcement of the theme, and then free conversation and dining.
The program has been held five times, each with a different theme: 'Elementary School Admission,' 'Summer Vacation,' 'Wedding March,' 'AI Frontier,' and 'December Birthdays.' Notably, both the participants and the themes are not revealed in advance, following a blind format. On the day of the event, the common theme is announced, encouraging natural communication. The program was also designed to promote exchanges between sales and support departments, activate collaboration, and build empathy, ultimately narrowing the psychological distance between employees.
A Kyobo Securities representative stated, "Everyday conversations accumulate to create positive changes within the organization," adding, "We will continue to expand various communication programs that allow employees to comfortably share their opinions and better understand each other."
In addition, Kyobo Securities selected the departments and employees who participated most actively in volunteer activities throughout the year as 'Outstanding Dreamers,' to encourage voluntary social contribution and spread a communication-centered corporate culture.
In the department category, three departments with the highest participation rates were each awarded a donation voucher worth 1 million won, and in the individual category, four outstanding employees were each given a voucher worth 500,000 won. These vouchers will be donated to welfare organizations chosen directly by the recipients, to support neighbors in need.
