Rice Accumulated Through Charity Baseball Game
100 Kilograms of Rice Donated Per Hit
On the 23rd, NH Nonghyup Bank announced that it had donated 3,200 kilograms of rice to the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism Social Welfare Foundation. The rice was collected at a charity baseball game held at Gocheok Sky Dome on November 29 in partnership with the Yang Joonhyuk Sports Foundation.
This donation is part of the "Farmers' Heart, Heaven's Heart" campaign. At the "2025 Hope Plus Charity Baseball Game," the only charity baseball event in Korea sponsored by Nonghyup Bank, 2,100 kilograms of rice were accumulated by allocating 100 kilograms of rice for each hit, and an additional 1,100 kilograms were gathered through a rice consumption promotion campaign, totaling 3,200 kilograms.
The Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism Social Welfare Foundation plans to use this rice for the "Cheongnyeon Bapsim" initiative, which has provided free meals and warm encouragement to university students more than 60 times since last year.
Kang Taeyoung, President of Nonghyup Bank, said, "Through sports, we will continue to bring hope to our society and provide unwavering interest and support so that young people can dream about their futures."
