Two Programs Including "Dream Narae"
Applications Open from December 26
Yeongdeungpo District in Seoul (District Mayor Choi Hokwon) announced on the 24th that it will be recruiting participants for the "Youth Dream Narae Job Program" and "Weekday Night & Weekend Public Job Opportunities" to provide young people with practical work experience and opportunities for economic independence. Applications will be accepted from December 26, 2025, to January 7, 2026.
The "Youth Dream Narae Job Program" is a customized public job initiative designed to help young people enhance their professional capabilities and explore career paths by gaining experience in various administrative work.
The program is open to young people aged 19 to 39 who reside in Yeongdeungpo District. The employment period is five months, from February 1 to June 30, 2026. Participants will work five days a week, six hours per day (including a one-hour break, for a total of seven hours). Working hours may be adjusted depending on the workplace, and participants will receive an hourly wage of 12,121 won, which is the 2026 living wage set by Yeongdeungpo District.
A total of 20 people will be selected to work at the district office, local community centers, and affiliated organizations. Main responsibilities include supporting the operation of public facilities such as youth centers and libraries, assisting with visitor guidance and civil affairs at community centers, and providing information on the disposal of large waste items. Applicants can choose their preferred department and position based on their areas of interest.
The "Weekday Night & Weekend Public Job Opportunities" program, which targets young people who find it difficult to work during weekday daytime hours, will recruit seven participants. Weekday night shifts are up to three hours per day, while weekend shifts are up to six hours per day (including a one-hour break, for a total of seven hours). The eligibility criteria and wage are the same as those for the "Youth Dream Narae Job Program."
For both programs, applicants must visit the community center in their residential area to apply. Detailed information will be available from December 26, 2025, on the district office's official website under "Notices" or on the "Yeongdeungpo Youth" Naver Cafe.
