Honored as an Excellent Local Government in Public Property Management for Two Consecutive Years
Sancheong County, South Gyeongsang Province, announced on the 24th that it has been selected as an excellent local government in the "2025 Comprehensive Survey of Public Property" organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and has received a special grant of 20 million won.
This achievement follows last year's selection as the "Best Local Government" in the "Public Property Management Analysis and Diagnosis Evaluation," marking the second consecutive year that the county has been recognized as an excellent local government.

From last year until June of this year, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety carried out a project to identify and correct errors by cross-checking public property ledgers and three types of official records (real estate registers, land registers, and building management ledgers) for all 243 local governments nationwide, with the aim of accurately identifying public property information and ensuring efficient management.
As a result, Sancheong County completed 100% of the required corrections for 3,742 cases (2,374 parcels of land and 1,368 buildings), and in the process, discovered 413 previously omitted properties worth 18.2 billion won. This accomplishment earned the county the honor of being named an excellent institution (encouragement award) in the nationwide comprehensive survey of public property.
County Governor Lee Seunghwa encouraged the employees who contributed to the county being selected as an excellent local government in the field of public property for two consecutive years, stating, "We will continue to strengthen the management and utilization of public property to enhance the value of residents' assets and expand the county's finances."
