Managers Allegedly Made Food for 'I Live Alone' and 'Narae Bar'... Park Narae Files Additional Lawsuit

"Managers Were Responsible for Preparing Food for Both 'Narae Bar' and Entertainment Shows"

Additional allegations continue to surface against broadcaster Park Narae, who is facing various accusations including mistreatment of her managers. This time, claims have been made that the food preparation featured on Park Narae’s segment of the MBC entertainment program 'I Live Alone,' as well as the preparations for 'Narae Bar,' a party where Park Narae invites acquaintances to her home, were all handled by her managers.

"Preparation and Cleanup for 'Narae Bar' Were Also the Managers' Responsibility"

Lee Jin-ho, a YouTuber and former journalist, revealed additional allegations from former managers on his YouTube channel on the 22nd. Lee stated, "I looked into the mistreatment experienced by Park Narae’s former managers. Whenever Narae Bar was held, the managers were extremely busy. They had to go to the fish market, and depending on the preferences of the celebrity guests, the managers were responsible for changing the lighting. Furthermore, depending on the dishes and ingredients Park Narae decided on for the day, the managers sometimes had to go as far as Gwacheon or even Gangwon Province to pick up items."

It is reported that the managers would wait inside the house whenever Narae Bar was held. Lee Jin-ho explained, "When a lot of alcohol was consumed and supplies ran low, the managers would wait on the first or second floor and serve the drinks themselves. In particular, for wine, they would chill it before serving. The type of glass used would change depending on the wine, so the managers had to provide different glasses each time the wine changed. All of these tasks were the managers' responsibility, including washing the dishes." The managers were also reportedly responsible for calling taxis for celebrity guests when they left, as well as sorting recyclables and cleaning up the trash.

"Making Pancakes for Two Days... Even the Cooking on 'I Live Alone' Was Done by the Managers"

Lee Jin-ho further reported that there was testimony claiming that the food presented as being made by Park Narae herself on 'I Live Alone' was actually prepared by the managers. Lee stated, "The show often praised her for taking good care of people by serving lavish meals, but who really made that food? There are claims that the managers were involved throughout the entire cooking process."

He added, "On 'I Live Alone,' only the scene where she gives a lunchbox to Cocoon was shown, not the actual preparation. It is said that the managers made Cocoon’s lunchbox. For the scenes where pancakes were made for the holidays, the managers reportedly spent two days, starting the day before, making the pancakes alongside her. During kimchi-making, while the show was being filmed, the managers were in the back grinding glutinous rice paste. The managers were also responsible for buying radishes, red pepper powder, and garlic."
