Pyeongtaek Port Authority Presents Appreciation Plaques to Companies Contributing to Increased Cargo Volume at Pyeongtaek Port

The Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority presented appreciation plaques to companies that contributed to increasing cargo volume at Pyeongtaek Port.


On December 23, the Pyeongtaek Port Authority announced that it awarded appreciation plaques to shipping and logistics companies that contributed to increasing cargo volume and revitalizing the port in connection with the "2025 Gyeonggi Province Pyeongtaek Port Cargo Attraction Incentive Support Project" at the Pyeongtaek Port Marine Center.


The incentive support project is operated to encourage companies using Pyeongtaek Port to attract more cargo and expand new cargo and shipping routes. The Pyeongtaek Port Authority provides support such as scale-based incentives, growth incentives, and route establishment incentives according to the payment criteria.

Kim Geumgyu, Acting President of the Pyeongtaek Port Authority, said, "We sincerely thank all the companies for trusting and using Pyeongtaek Port despite challenging external conditions," adding, "We will continue to improve the system by reflecting feedback from the field and provide necessary support to strengthen Pyeongtaek Port's competitiveness."


The Pyeongtaek Port Authority plans to further strengthen communication with companies using Pyeongtaek Port and will strive to increase cargo volume and revitalize the port through improvements in system operations and the advancement of services.
