Now in its ninth year, this event is Shinhan University's vibrant global festival where international students of various nationalities gather to enjoy each other's cultures and build friendships through national cuisines, traditional costumes, and talent shows. This year, the event was particularly significant as it saw participation from over 600 international students, making it the largest in its history.
The event featured a variety of cultural programs, including a national cuisine tasting, a traditional costume parade, a celebratory Taekwondo performance, talent shows, and recreational activities, all of which received enthusiastic responses from students and attendees.
Jeong Jingyeong, Executive Vice President for Special Affairs, remarked in his congratulatory address, "It is truly meaningful to see students from different cultural backgrounds come together in harmony and exchange. I hope this event becomes a cherished memory for international students and serves as an opportunity for them to feel pride as members of the global community."
Meanwhile, Shinhan University continues to strengthen its internationalization capabilities, having been selected as a certified institution for the Ministry of Education's Internationalization Competency Certification Program, designated as a host university for the Government Scholarship Program for International Students (GKS), appointed as a test center for the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK), and operating the Dnipro Sejong Institute in Ukraine.
