DAY6 has achieved their first 100 million views on YouTube as a group with the music video for "You Were Beautiful," according to their agency JYP Entertainment on December 23.
The title track "You Were Beautiful" from DAY6's album "Every DAY6 February," released on February 6, 2017, is part of the "Every DAY6" project, in which the band released new songs every month. The song gained popularity for its lyrical message, reminiscing about a past relationship and singing that every moment was beautiful.
This track ranked 7th on the 2024 annual chart of Melon, a leading Korean music streaming site, and has remained on the Melon Top 100 chart from January 2024 up to the present.
Celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, DAY6 released a series of new music: the digital single "Maybe Tomorrow" on May 7, their fourth full-length album "The DECADE" on September 5, and the Christmas special single "Lovin' the Christmas" on December 15.
DAY6 recently completed their concert in Seoul and plans to continue their 10th anniversary tour next year, starting in Hong Kong on January 17-18, followed by Manila on the 24th and Kuala Lumpur on the 31st.
