Everybot, a company specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) service robots, announced on December 23 that it expects next year's sales to reach 58 billion won, a 61% increase compared to this year, according to a revised disclosure of its consolidated financial forecast.
Everybot began mass production and supply of its AI autonomous driving module, which is installed in SK Intellix's wellness robot NamuX, in October. As a result, Everybot is experiencing significant sales growth in addition to its existing robot vacuum sales.
Next year, Everybot is preparing to launch a new premium mopping robot vacuum cleaner, which will feature additional and upgraded functions compared to its existing mopping robot vacuum. The company is also considering launching new products in various specialized robot vacuum categories.
Sales related to the AI autonomous driving module supplied to SK Intellix began in the fourth quarter of this year with deliveries in the thousands, but next year, annual supply is expected to reach tens of thousands of units, which is projected to make a significant contribution to sales growth.
Meanwhile, Everybot recently announced a large-scale recruitment of research and development personnel. This move appears to be part of preparations for further expansion of its AI autonomous driving module robot platform business and entry into new robotics ventures next year.
