A Networking Event for Tourism Industry Professionals
Suncheon City announced on the 22nd that the "2025 Suncheon Tourism Day" event, held at the Eoullim Sports Center on the 19th, concluded successfully with the participation of over 200 tourism industry professionals.

This Suncheon tourism achievement-sharing event was designed to move beyond a simple year-end or formal official gathering, providing an opportunity for tourism stakeholders who have supported Suncheon's tourism sector throughout the year to reflect on both the regrets and the positive outcomes of the past year.
The event was particularly meaningful as it brought together a wide range of participants who have contributed to Suncheon's tourism, including tourism industry workers, restaurant and accommodation business representatives, travel industry professionals, village hosts, cultural tourism interpreters, tourism program partners, and officials from related organizations and groups.
Under the slogan "A Suncheon Journey Created by All of Us," the event began with an opening performance and video featuring the stories of tourism professionals. In particular, the performance "My Suncheon I Can Proudly Speak Of" resonated strongly with the audience by highlighting citizen-led tourism initiatives such as tourism taxis, village stays, and interpreters.
A Suncheon City official expressed deep gratitude to those who have worked tirelessly in the field, stating, "The administration only played a supporting role; the real protagonists who drove Suncheon's tourism and local economy were those of you working on the ground."
The official added, "We will continue to share stories from the field, develop tourism infrastructure that encourages visitors to stay longer, and pursue long-term stay tourism strategies in connection with the wellness industry."
