Seol Dongho, Superintendent of Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education, congratulated the graduates, saying, "I sincerely congratulate all of you who have never given up on your dreams of learning and have continuously challenged yourselves to achieve meaningful accomplishments. I hope that today's graduation will not be the end of your journey, but rather a new starting line as you move forward into a wider world."

Superintendent Seol delivered these remarks at the graduation ceremony for the Daejeon Neulpureun School's Middle School Diploma Program, held at the Daejeon Lifelong Learning Center at 10 a.m. on December 22, 2025.

The event began with a congratulatory video highlighting the graduates' three-year journey, followed by the awarding of certificates and commendations by Woo Changyoung, Director of the Daejeon Lifelong Learning Center. Superintendent Seol Dongho then presented the diplomas and delivered his congratulatory address. The ceremony continued with a speech by the representative of the graduates and a commemorative photo session.

At this graduation, 24 students who enrolled in March 2023 and completed the three-year curriculum received their diplomas. The graduates, with an average age of 71 (the oldest being 83), achieved the meaningful milestone of graduating from middle school after diligently pursuing their studies despite their advanced age.
