Masan Happo District in Changwon Special City, South Gyeongsang Province announced that its official YouTube channel, "HappoU," has surpassed 1,000 subscribers, establishing itself as a leading channel for communication with local residents.
"HappoU" has been providing administrative information and tourist attractions-which may otherwise seem complex and formal-through easy-to-understand videos, focusing on news that is helpful to residents' daily lives.
As a result, it has been credited with shifting from "administration you have to search for" to "administration you can see and understand."
Building on this achievement, Happo District plans to increase the proportion of on-site content and participatory videos, aiming to deliver stories that are even more closely connected to residents' lives.
Seo Hogwan, head of Masan Happo District Office, stated, "What matters more than the number of subscribers is the choice and participation of our residents," adding, "We will continue to grow as a trusted channel that people can visit and watch without hesitation."
