Sorux is accelerating its 'one team' approach by putting its integration strategy with AriBio at the forefront. The company aims to clarify its group-level growth structure, moving beyond a simple partnership.
On December 22, Sorux announced that it is considering a change of corporate name to further clarify its external identity and growth direction, as it explained the progress of its merger with AriBio and its future plans. The new name 'AriBio INC (ABI)' is being strongly considered.
This discussion about changing the company name reflects Sorux's intention to elevate its relationship with AriBio from a traditional partnership to a group-level growth strategy. The company plans to reorganize its structure and operations to enhance execution under a unified strategy, rather than treating its bio and lighting businesses as separate entities.
Jung Jaejun, CEO of Sorux, stated, "We are outlining our growth roadmap based on the premise of integration with AriBio," adding, "Our external communications will also be aligned with this process of redefining the company's identity in a way that is easy for the market and investors to understand."
Sorux also made it clear that it will continue to expand its existing lighting business. The company plans to maintain the Sorux lighting brand while strengthening its residential competitiveness through retail expansion and the advancement of AI-based cognitive lighting and smart lighting solutions.
Major issues, including the company name change, will be finalized through the relevant procedures. The company stated, "We will announce finalized details through official channels at the appropriate time."
