In September, Hope Bridge signed an agreement with Korea Land and Housing Corporation and four elementary and middle schools in the Jinju area of Gyeongnam, and has since been actively promoting education to strengthen local children's disaster response capabilities.

The disaster safety experience education program was designed to move beyond theory-based safety education, focusing instead on hands-on, experience-oriented activities where children could see and learn for themselves. Through practical training that simulates disaster situations such as typhoons and earthquakes, the program aimed to help children develop the ability to respond calmly in crisis situations.

The education was conducted both during school vacations and the regular semester. During the vacation period, the training utilized the experiential infrastructure of the Gyeongsangnam-do Safety Experience Center, with over 200 children participating. During the semester, mobile experience equipment and professional instructors visited schools directly, expanding the program's reach to on-site school education. A total of 3,454 students participated.

At the end of the year, an additional disaster safety experience education session was held using space at the Korea Land and Housing Corporation headquarters, with 776 children participating. Including this, the total number of children who participated in the annual education program reached approximately 4,400.

A representative from Korea Land and Housing Corporation stated, "It is most important for children to experience disaster situations firsthand and learn how to respond," adding, "We hope this education will provide practical help in raising safety awareness among local children."

Shin Hoon, Secretary-General of Hope Bridge, said, "This project is an example of how a public institution and a disaster-specialized organization can work together to systematically support children's safety in a region," and added, "We will continue to expand field-oriented disaster safety education in the future."
