Jeonnam Provincial Council Holds Job Training Workshop for City and County Council Officials

Sharing Response Strategies for the Inauguration After the 9th Local Elections

The Jeonnam Provincial Council held the "2025 Council Officials Job Training Workshop" at Korea Energy Engineering University in Naju on December 18, 2025, to prepare for the opening of the local council and to strengthen practical capabilities.

More than 80 officials from the provincial council and city and county councils across the province attended the workshop, participating in practical training and case-based Q&A sessions to prepare for the next local council inauguration.

During a special lecture, Dr. Choi Minsoo explained the procedures and preparation process for the 13th local council, which will be formed after the 9th nationwide local elections scheduled for June 3, 2026. He shared response strategies and practical know-how that council staff can utilize in the field.

Additionally, a Q&A session on overall local council operations provided participants with an opportunity to share and resolve various issues and practical questions encountered during the process of supporting council activities.

A representative of the Jeonnam Provincial Council stated, "We will continue to provide educational opportunities for city and county council officials in the province to enhance their expertise, and we will further strengthen communication and cooperation among city and county councils."
