Held Over Two Days Starting on the 19th at Yeosu World Expo Venue
Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (YGPA, Acting President Hwang Hakbeom) announced on the 22nd that the "Yeosu World Expo Venue Hope Sharing Year-End Concert," held over two days on the 19th and 20th at the Yeosu Expo Convention Center Expo Hall, was successfully concluded with enthusiastic support from citizens.
This event was organized to offer comfort and solidarity at the end of the year, inviting workers from the Yeosu and Gwangyang National Industrial Complexes who are facing difficulties due to the industrial complex crisis, as well as members of local welfare centers, senior clubs, and other culturally marginalized groups who have relatively fewer opportunities to enjoy cultural events.

On the first day, the 19th, the event featured a live radio concert of the Yeosu MBC radio program "Park Sungeon's Music Restaurant," with singer-songwriters Jang Deulle, Lee Chansol, and Heritage Mass Choir performing music and sharing stories about life and daily experiences, delivering a warm resonance to the audience for the year-end season.
On the second day, the 20th, a live broadcast of the nationwide MBC TV program "Trot Class" was held. The lively performances and familiar song selections filled the venue with laughter and applause, creating a festive atmosphere where audiences of all ages, including senior citizens, came together in celebration.
Acting President Hwang Hakbeom stated, "We wanted to create an opportunity for industrial complex workers and culturally marginalized groups in the community to come together as one and share new hope at the end of the year," adding, "We will continue to promote cultural events that foster solidarity with the local community going forward."
