The county was recognized for its various efforts, such as increasing order volumes for local construction companies despite the ongoing downturn in the construction market, recommending the preferential purchase of local materials, producing a guidebook for specialized construction businesses, and selecting outstanding construction professionals.
In particular, at the beginning of the year, the county held a Regional Construction Industry Development Committee meeting to listen to the difficulties faced by local construction companies and sought practical measures to improve the construction environment. At the end of the year, the county selected and awarded outstanding construction professionals who contributed to revitalizing the local construction industry, encouraging their efforts and boosting local company participation rates.
Additionally, by producing and distributing a construction industry guidebook, the county strengthened preventive measures to ensure that local companies do not suffer disadvantages due to legal violations, thereby making a tangible contribution to revitalizing the local construction industry.
County Governor Yoo Heetae stated, "The construction industry is highly effective in revitalizing the local economy, so we have made every effort to expand orders and subcontracts for local companies and increase the use of local materials." He added, "Taking this award as an opportunity, we will continue to work even harder to revitalize the local construction industry and create a safer construction environment."
